Schneider Electric/Habitat for Humanity Profit Share

Building homes, building lives (View Advertisement)

While working at Schneider Electric, I planned an event benefiting Habitat for Humanity held at the Olde Blind Dog, an Irish pub located in Roswell, Ga. I designed the attached advertisement in Photoshop CS5. It was posted to the restaurant’s windows and also converted into a smaller size in order to be used as table tents placed on tables throughout the restaurant. The community was made well aware of the event through advertising, and in turn the event was a success, as Schneider Electric raised close to $300 for Habitat for Humanity.

Schneider Electric Healthy Lifestyles Newsletter

Promoting the importance of a nutritious and active lifestyle (View Newsletter) (View Insert)

While at Schneider Electric, I volunteered as a member of the Healthy Lifestyles committee. The committee promotes the importance of exercise and nutrition to other employees. As a member of the committee, I designed a newsletter to be sent out monthly to all employees at the Alpharetta, Ga. office. The newsletter contains articles from health websites and magazines that members of the committee found to be important to communicate to other employees. I also designed the summer insert that was both included with the newsletter and posted on bulletin boards around the office for all to view.

Phi Mu Breakfast at Tiffany’s Fundraiser

Improving the lives of sick and injured children (View Advertisement)

As the public relations co-chair of my sorority, Phi Mu, I create all visual advertisements used to promote fundraising events for our philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network. This ad, created in Photoshop CS5, was used to promote Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Phi Mu’s annual buffet breakfast and Tiffany’s jewelry raffle. All proceeds benefited Children’s Miracle Network.

Schneider Electric/Habitat for Humanity Donations Tool

A hand up, not a hand out (View Donations Thermometer)

The Georgia employees of Schneider Electric spend 3 months raising $5,000 to benefit Habitat for Humanity. I created this thermometer in Photoshop CS5 in order to keep track of the amount of money raised. The donations thermometer is displayed in three different Schneider Electric offices throughout Georgia.
